World Youth Day and the Chaldean Connection |

As someone who attended World Youth Day celebrations and the final Papal Mass at Randwick Racecourse, it was astounding to see so many groups – the Hawaiians, the Fijians, Indians, Italians, Poles, Germans, Vietnamese, Spaniards (they sing at the drop of a hat), Mexicans and the list goes on  . There were No riots, no killings, no suicide bombs, no aggression – after all, this was not a Muslim gathering. In the midst of this were groups of Lebanese Maronites and several groups of Chaldean Christians from various parts of the world. What stood out was how polite and joyful these Middle Eastern groups were. Take away Islam from the Middle East and you get a whiff of what the Middle East could be like – full of lively, friendly people who go out of their way to talk to others and wish others well in a normal, human way. Most of these Middle East Christians were émigré groups who had fled the Islamic persecution of their home countries. However, there was one group who had a most difficult time getting here and their story deserves to be told- that is the story behind the arrival of Chaldeans from Iraq itself. Actually, 140 Chaldeans applied to come to WYD and the applications had to go through the Australian embassy in Amman, Jordan, and were initially refused. However, when the story of the refusal was made public through the Catholic News Service, 27 visas were finally granted to the Iraqis, and even thought the number was small, this group was able to come to Sydney to join in the WYD celebrations.  In today’s scenario, the invaluable service provided by Commercial Shipping to the society and to the nations across the globe cannot be overlooked. It is the main artery that advances the world commerce. Modern economies cannot exist without a well organized and efficient merchant cargo fleet, because it is the cheapest mode of transport. From the early beginning shipping is a risky venture. In addition to the long monotonous sailing for months together, there are threats of typhoon, piracy, sinking etc. Piracy has existed almost as long as shipping and trade. Along the way, piracy came to be seen as an interesting historical problem associated with skull and crossbones flag, galleons of gold and villains carrying cutlasses. It was even perceived with a dash of excitement and even romance as depicted in the movie, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. |

In the last few days many of us have received information regarding yet another odious “United” nations resolution  which, in classic Islamo-speak is entitled “Combating Defamation of Religions”. It will come as no surprise to any who are watching, alert and alarmed, that this “resolution” was hatched in the extremist Islamist enclave, the Organisation of the Islamic Conference. This …. enlightened….. body of thinkers is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations. It groups 57 member states, from the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Caucasus, Balkan, Southeast Asia, South Asia and South America.
Note, please, that Malaysia is a core member. I’ll get to Mahatir-land, (where this little kafir learned of the munificence and beneficence of Islam first-hand), in a moment. (I know he’s not the PM now, but his shadow is cast long on that land). Just pause and reflect for a moment on the… quality… of the 57 varieties of bean that make up this august soup group!
Niger!! Uganda!! Chad!! All “beacons” of civilisation. What is that sound I hear; your mind boggling?

Warning: Very graphic and disturbing content! Surprise, surprise the Age (9/7/08) does its usual article concentrating on ‘female circumcision’, particularly the most horrific variety with the ‘gosh isn’t it shocking but it’s nothing to do with Islam’.... The reality that Islamic text/laws make clitoridectomy mandatory or regard it as sunnah (supported by Mohammad) or at least a worthy practise is completely  ignored. Also ignored are the many hadiths (which dictate day-to-day life) that support the practise. No-one claimed Islam invented clitoridectomy - the Arabs practiced it at the time of Mohammad ..but to deny that it was taken up by Islam, is promoted by Islamic religious leaders, is mostly practised by Muslims and has spread around the world with Islam just shows the power of Islam in stopping people (including UN groups) from telling the obvious truth - in the case of Islam, there IS a religious base to the practice!!! Note: May 2008 the Egyptian parliament seemed to have dropped laws making female genital mutilation illlegal in Egypt (other laws re increasing marriageable age and reporting families who beat their children were also over-ruled) (reference), though more recent reports claim clitoridectomy has been criminalised with trivial maximum sentences of up to 2 years jail and $1000 fine –AND it’s allowed in cases of ‘medical necessity!!! Conservatives maintain that Islam condones the removal of a girl’s clitoris to tame her sexual desires and condemn the amendment as a western import. (reference) |

 As readers know there are around 200,000 pilgrims attending Catholic World Youth Day in Sydney which is open to everyone and is a festival of Christianity and more broadly, of the Judeo-Christian values held in our western society. This international festival was started by Pope John Paul II and is being continued by Pope Benedict XVI. Remember Oriana Fallaci, atheist and feminist, found Pope Benedict one of ‘the few people’ she could speak to in Europe as regards her understanding of western civisilation. Marriage between relatives, usually cousins, in Arab and Muslim societies is common and sanctioned under  shariah because Mohammed, the perfect man, married his cousin, Zainab bint Jahsh. It is also legal under our law, but not terribly common. Such marriages ensured the wealth stayed within the family, and that the marriage partner was well known to the family. Of course, when people lived in small villages and travel was difficult, it was probable that the only available partners were family members. However, there is evidence that the product of such marriages suffer disproportionate risks of genetic disorders, and the risk increases down the bloodline with each successive relative marriage. In Saudi Arabia, where cousin marriage is common, authorities are beginning to realise the consquences of such unions. |

We learnt about the death of another Aussie SAS digger a few days ago with great sadness.  Signaller Sean McCarthy, 25, single, born in NZ, was killed by a roadside bomb planted there by Islamic “holy warriors”. (reference)
Let us salute our fallen hero. At the same time a couple of questions come to my mind: - Where do the Taliban combatants get money to purchase their explosives, weapons and food?
- Who helps them to organize the funds, purchase weapons and deliver the hardware to them?
Just a few days earlier The Australian reported that a Sydney "charity”, Muslim Aid Australia , openly admitted channeling aid into the Palestinian Islamic terrorists through a Muslim organization Interpal banned by Australia and the US for its alleged links to terrorism. (reference)

Increasingly, those who have been indifferent to Islamic expansionism have been given a jolt by Muslim’s attitude to  dogs. These friendly little creatures who have given so much joy to humanity, have saved people’s lives, assist with crime detection, alleviate depression in hospitals, act as guard dogs and help the disabled –have been made the object of contempt by Muslim take drivers refusing to take on disabled passengers who need dogs to move and function. Now dogs are now in the spotlight again because of Muslims in Britain. Britain’s latest effort at dhimmitude is the announcement that: …sniffer dogs may have to wear booties when searching Muslim houses or mosques so as not to cause offense. (source)

 We all know that the Islamic paradise is a huge brothel where men eat, drink and have sex with endlessly compliant eternal ‘virgins’ (and possibly boys), untouched by man or jinn (demons not alcohol!)
Eg. Koran sura 78.31-33, 55.54-58, 55.72-74; 45.70-74, 56.35-38, 52.17-20, 37.48-49, 44.51-55, 38.49-53, 2.25 or young boys with skin like pearls 52.24, 56.17, 76.19). Hadith eg Tirmidhi note, male virility, 72 virgins/ white houris-girls of tender age with transparent skin, large breasts, free from menstruation, menopause, urinal and other discharges, child bearing and the related pollution (also Bukhari V4 book 54 No. 476 and v4 book 55 No. 544). Great Muslims like al-Ghazali (1058-1111) in Ihya Uloom Ed-Din (almost as important as the Koran) continue the fantasy promising more virgins.

Listen up, you Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Bahai’s, Zoroastrians, Hindus & Sikhs: Islam hates you! Despite the platitudes that Islam is tolerant, the reality is revealed by Islam’s brutality worldwide. Why is this so? If we look at the “sacred” texts, we find endless emnity against Jews, Christians, Pagans and Atheists, which translate into actual violence. Jihad against non-Muslims is mandated in Islamic texts. I challenge you to find a country free of Islamic jihad. Remember, jihad isn’t simply fighting for Islam, but any method of promoting Islam, such as establishing Islamic schools, halal food or Sharia finance. Observant Muslims restate their antipathy against others 17 times a day, reciting al-Fatihah, the first chapter of the Qur'an, where they pray that they will be guided on the straight path, not like the Christians ('those who have gone astray') or the Jews ('those who incur Allah's wrath'). Emnity to others remains central to Islamic ideology.

 Research reveals that in the 7th century there was a wide variety of marriages where often women had considerable power and independence ---look at Mohammad’s wife Khadia in the PRE-ISLAMIC world—so Islam did NOT improve the position of women but set in cement forever their inferior position as nothing more than readily disposable personal prostitutes and breeding cows for Muslim men.
The Muslim man can obtain the use of her body for nothing (*Abu-Dawud Book 11, Number 2123) or a small payment (eg. iron ring,flour, dates, quotes from the Koran.. -*Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 80: *Abu-Dawud Book 11, Number 2105; *Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 72 ***..) and can divorce her whenever he feels like it without any payment at all or limited support for 3 months. Western society gives women equality, security and rights in marriage. The few rights afforded the Muslim woman are trivial.

On February 14, 2000 David Hicks wrote in a letter to his father Terry: "I am now officially a Taliban member" who would mix "learning" and "fighting".
Later in another letter to his trustworthy dad he wrote:
“…while fighting with Lashkar-e-Toiba, I got to fire hundreds of rounds into Indian-administered Kashmir” (source)
All courts in the world might have found David Hicks not guilty of any serious offence, but let us make no mistake, the intent of David Hicks was to kill other human beings- perhaps your brothers, cousins, friends or other fellow countrymen. Courts in democratic countries were designed to deal with local criminals – not with terrorist, illegal combatants or even an enemy’s POWs. Imagine a war where dealing with every single enemy combatant would require a “proof of guilt” without a reasonable doubt.

We Australians are an altruistic lot: vast numbers of Aussies are involved in voluntary work – firefighters, surf lifesavers, those caring for the aged, the homeless, disabled, troubled or addicted, plus a variety of other worthy causes. Often these volunteers put their own lives and well-being on the line, all for the sake of helping others. People donate blood, even donate a kidney, to total strangers and risk their lives to rescue children from burning buildings. What makes people act so unselfishly?
I believe this altruism stems from our Judeo-Christian culture, where the obligation to help those less fortunate is woven into its fabric.

Interfaith = 1 Faith = Islam Interfaith has become one of the buzz words of the decade and many citizens who care about justice and equal rights find themselves participating in one of these groups, which have proliferated in recent years. Interfaith is being heavily promoted, with endless grants being given to any whose activities have a multicultural and living in harmony flavour.
